Nader Rad
Nader Rad started working with projects over 20 years ago. First, as a project planner in construction projects, and then in large process-plant projects. In parallel, he was also involved in IT projects and start-ups, moving from project planning into project management. He went on to help companies improve their project, program, and portfolio management systems.
Now, he spends most of his time developing contributing to standards:
- NUPP (Nader’s Nearly Universal Project Principles)
- PRINCE2®
- PRINCE2 Agile®
- PMBOK® Guide – watch my interview with Nader about his work on PMBOK 7
…and also developing eLearning courses in the company he runs with Frank Turley, Management Plaza.
But as well as teaching established third-party methodologies, Nader and Frank have developed their own Project Management methodology, P3.express.

What Kit does a Project Manager Need?
I asked Project Managers in a couple of forums what material things you need to have, to do your job as a Project Manager. They responded magnificently. I compiled their answers into a Kit list. I added my own.
