I first produced a Periodic Table of Project Management back in December 2013, as a marketing asset for the launch of my then-new book, How to Manage a Great Project.
This is a book that I am still enormously proud of.
It is the perfect book for anyone who wants to get started in Project Management. It is especially good for people who are given their first project and need to understand the basics, quickly.
I structured it around my 8 Step Process:
My plan was to spruce it up a bit and give it a 10th-anniversary refresh. A nicer design, maybe.
But then, I started to think about ways I could improve the content. Before I knew it, I was cutting out bits of paper and making a mess of the dining room table.
